According to the Energy security policy along with Green Growth Strategy; the company focuses on participation in the Renewable Power Plant Development Project. To be a part of the stability contribution of electric power in Thailand for becoming environmentally friendly, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Thus, the company collected data, studied, and explored potential energy sources in Thailand. We found that wind is a clean energy source that occurs in nature, unlimited and no energy costs. Thailand is under the influence of northeast monsoon and southwest monsoon. Occur and blow in a certain direction for a long period throughout the season annually. The main areas located in the central highlands of the country, and on the coast. The average wind speed is about 5-7 meters per second.

However, wind turbine technology has been developed rapidly. So, it can produce electricity efficiently and suitable for wind potential in Thailand. The company also has an investment promotion policy for receiving incentives from the Government. From the foregoing, the company is able to develop and expand the electricity generation business from wind power. At present, the company has 5 wind power plants with a total contracted capacity of 170 megawatts. For commercial operation, selling electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has been completed.
