Wind Energy Development Company Limited (WED) Received the plaque of honor for participating in the leading project for developing sustainability criteria index for power plants from the Energy Regulatory Commission for the year 2023

Wind Energy Development Company Limited (WED) (Subplu Wind Farm 1, Subplu Wind Farm 2 Project) has participated in the leading project to development of sustainability criteria for Thailand's power plants to promote sustainable electricity generation. Developing sustainability indicators (Sustainability index) covers 5 dimensions: environment, finance and economics, technical, community society, and long-term plans. The company has participated in evaluating and implementing pilot projects throughout the period until they are completed according to plan. On April 26, 2024, Mr.Thriti Boonyanon, Director of the Wind Energy Business Development Department, represented the company at the ceremony to receive the accolade for the leading project for developing sustainability criteria index for power plants from the Energy Regulatory Commission at the Grand Ballroom, of the Millennium Hilton Bangkok. This recognition signifies the company's commitment to sustainable operation and serves as a benchmark for other power plants in Thailand, enabling knowledge transfer and improvement in sustainable practices.
